# Innovadata

> Official company data from 7 European business registries in one schema. Filtered XLSX exports, REST API and MCP server for B2B prospecting, lead generation and counterparty (KYC) checks. Some records are held but not sold: dissolved companies, and sole traders in Sweden and Poland. The counts on the site and in the API show only what is on sale. Refreshed daily.

Innovadata provides filtered, structured company data from official government registries across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Poland. Users filter by industry code (EMTAK, NACE, EVRK, SNI, PKD), location, company status and registration date, and by employee count and turnover where the register publishes them (not for Poland), then download custom XLSX exports or query the same data via REST API / MCP.

New accounts get a €30 free balance (no credit card), enough for roughly 750 Estonian company rows.

## Available Countries

- **Estonia (EE)** — Extended data: registry code, name, legal form, status, EMTAK codes, address, contacts (email, phone, website), board members, turnover, employees, VAT (KMKR), tax debt / arrears (EMTA public debtors list), annual-report financials (revenue, net profit, total assets, equity)
- **Latvia (LV)** — Registry code, name, legal form, status, NACE codes, address, registered capital, board members, contacts, turnover, employees
- **Lithuania (LT)** — Registry code, name, legal form, status, EVRK codes, address, authorized capital, contacts, turnover, employees. Lithuania publishes no board-member names in its open data
- **Norway (NO)** — Organization number, name, business type, status, NACE codes, address, employees, registration date; annual-report financials (revenue, net profit, total assets, equity — in NOK) for AS/ASA companies
- **Finland (FI)** — Business ID (Y-tunnus), name, company form, status, NACE/TOL codes, address, municipality, VAT registration status, websites, and e-mail addresses read from the companies' own websites (role addresses such as info@; coverage growing)
- **Sweden (SE)** — Organisation number, name, legal form, status, address (one line: c/o, street, postal code and postal town), municipality and county (names), up to five SNI codes with descriptions, business description, employee size BAND (e.g. "20-49"; "0" means no employees, blank means SCB has no figure), turnover size BAND (an SCB class; the XLSX gives its bounds in SEK, e.g. "100000000-499999000", with the year it refers to), VAT registration and VAT number, employer registration, number of establishments, e-mail, phone and website where known, marketing opt-out flags (reklamspärr / telefonspärr: a blocked address or phone is left out of every file), registration date. Filters on the website: company name, SNI code, status, legal form, location (free text matched against the address), registration date, employee band, turnover band, VAT registered, contact presence, opt-out exclusion. Through the REST API and MCP only: export/import marking, owner category (state, municipal, private Swedish, foreign-owned), EU SME class, stock-exchange listing (Nasdaq Stockholm, First North, Spotlight), fine turnover class, activity start date, trade name, and branches (arbetsställen) with address, size and their own marketing block. Not available for Sweden: board member names, share capital, F-tax status, exact employee counts or turnover; employees and turnover are bands, never exact numbers
- **Poland (PL)** — companies and other organisations from KRS and REGON. Sole traders (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza, JDG) are held but not sold: a sole trader is a natural person, and selling their data needs a GDPR Article 14 notice first. Fields: REGON, NIP and KRS numbers, name, legal form (Polish and English), status, registration date (date of entry in KRS for KRS companies; not every company outside KRS has one), address with voivodeship and powiat (plus street, house and flat number, postal code and city as separate fields for KRS companies), all PKD codes at class level, VAT status from the Ministry of Finance white list where checked (an unchecked company is left empty, meaning unknown), share capital in PLN and number of shareholders for KRS companies, annual-report filing facts (whether a report was filed, the last filing date, the period and how many reports are on file; never the figures), latest report audited (yes/no; Polish law requires a statutory audit only above two of three size thresholds and for every SA, so the flag separates larger SMEs from micro and small companies), and e-mail, phone and website where the register publishes them. Filters: company name, status, PKD, legal form, voivodeship/powiat, registration date, VAT registered (verified only), share capital, contact presence, annual report filed, latest report audited. Not sold for Poland: sole traders, names of board members, proxies (prokurenci) and shareholders (the KRS API masks them), revenue, profit, equity and employee counts

### How do the 30 free credits work?
Sign up and complete a short profile. No card. Every account gets 30 credits (1 credit = €1). Spend them on anything: Excel lists, API calls or single-company lookups. Credits are valid for 7 days, then you top up only for what you use, from €20.

### What is the MCP server and how do I connect?
MCP lets an AI agent (Claude and others) call our data directly as a tool. Add it with one command using your API key, then ask in plain language: "find companies in Finland matching X and check they are active." Full setup: https://app.innovadata.eu/api-docs

### Is B2B outreach on this GDPR-safe?
Innovadata sells company-level records from official public registries. Depending on the country, a record can include the names of publicly registered board members or representatives — that is personal data published under national disclosure rules, and GDPR still applies to it. For Poland we sell no names of board members, proxies or shareholders, because the KRS API masks them, and no sole traders at all: a sole trader is a natural person, and selling their data needs an Article 14 notice first. B2B outreach based on such records usually relies on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); choosing the right legal basis and complying with GDPR and local marketing rules for your use case remains your responsibility.

### Do you have decision-maker emails?
Honest answer: registry contacts are mostly general company emails and phones, not personal inboxes. We show the exact email and phone coverage for your selection before you pay, so there are no surprises.

### Why not just use my local credit bureau?
If you need payment-default history or credit scores in your home market, use your local bureau. That is their strength and we will not pretend otherwise. Innovadata is for the cross-border job: prospecting and verifying companies in markets where you have no bureau account, across 7 countries in one schema.

## How ordering works

1. Pick a country and set filters (industry, location, size, turnover, contacts).
2. The site shows an exact company count and price before payment (counts are always free).
3. Pay via Montonio (card or bank link) or spend prepaid balance in the customer portal.
4. The XLSX export and PDF invoice are generated and emailed within minutes.

## Monitoring (Signals)

Save a filter selection in the customer portal and receive reports as the source data changes. By default a report lists the companies that newly match the selection (new registrations and companies that grew into the filters); you can add the companies that left it and changes such as status, VAT registration, turnover or headcount (the options depend on the country).
